Just looking for your opinions.

We have Nelson Handwriting font https://global.oup.com/education/product/9780748792559/?region=uk in our school.

An outside company who we are paying are making some handwriting resources for us.

They have asked for us to send them the font.

I said no as as far as I'm aware its a site licence ( am I correct in this ) and as such we cant just give it to a external company?

Surly they should purchase it themselves?

Little bit difficult... If they are making the resources exclusively for you, then I suppose it could be argued that it is for use by you, on your site, using your site licence. I suspect however, that as they are charging you for the privilege then they should be negotiating a commercial deal with Nelson Thorns.

They have to cough up. We have a particular font we use for the Welsh Government ... we have to get the licence for it ourselves. How they recharge that back to you is their business though.
