Update Silverlight via GPO

Hi we are trying to update Silverlight on our windows 7 machines I have tried a guide which I found on this forum but Silverlight doesn't update.

 

anyone know how to accomplish this?

Do you have WSUS? If so, issuing Silverlight through WSUS is much simpler and easier than you can imagine. It will update any old versions to the newest one that is sitting within WSUS.

at the moment we do not have a WSUS set up (part of the summer holiday plans to get one set up) so I have been trying to push it out via GPO.

 

at the moment GPO is the only method I have
