Yea i have tried that still doesn't work

Hi we have a bunch of Acer desktops at our school and on windows 7 the multi-card reader worked flawlessly. We have since moved to windows 8.1 and now they are completely hit and miss, sometimes sd cards pop up instantly other times you have to wait ages for it to show sometime they never appear. I am completely stuck as there is not a specific driver available for the card reader i have tried uninstalling all usb via device manager and letting windows update install newer drivers but still it does the same thing. I have read that windows 8.1 and multi-card readers don't really work to well but any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance

at the moment we do not have a WSUS set up (part of the summer holiday plans to get one set up) so I have been trying to push it out via GPO. at the moment GPO is the only method I have

The MSI pushes out fine, I receive errors opening files, running scratch (it installs everytime a user opens a scratch file, etc etc) how did you manage this? copy the install files from an install?

hi currently having problems installing scratch 2 over the network, I have tried the msi they have listed in the download section and that caused issues on opening files, now I am trying to install it using the .air install and a script but it isn't running anyone able to give me some help thanks in advance

ohh yea sorry there was a few IE updates an flash update available yesterday as well via windows update but after those were installed the problem was still there and flash still wouldn't work

Hi just deployed windows 8.1 at our school and as flash is deployed via windows update and was working fine when logged on as admin creating the 4 images for the different models of computers we have. Now for whatever reason when a user is logged in who doesn't have administrator rights flash doesn't work at all and whatever site they are on tells the user to install flash. At first I thought it was a problem with EducationCity as that is where the teachers were seeing this message but after further investigation it seems as it is any site that plays Flash has the same problem. When I check to see if the Flash add-on is installed and enabled on the browser it is. Has anyone come across this problem? does anyone know a fix we can push out via group policy? Also I have tried disabling everything that might be blocking ActiveX on sites (to the point where ie told the user when they opened up IE11 that settings were very unsafe but it still didn't work.
