FN-GM Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Hi, Windows phones do not seem to work with our Office 365 auto discover, however iPhones and Android work just fine. Im a little surprised to be honest, would have thought if anything these would work the best. Has anyone else had such issues please? Thanks
JRowley Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Not experienced this problem myself, seems to work fine here.
Michael Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 That is a little odd - are you running a full O365 or a hybrid setup?
FN-GM Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 That is a little odd - are you running a full O365 or a hybrid setup? Full 365, not working at all. Can't even configure it manually. I have wiped the device and started again and stuff no joy.
Michael Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 So I presume there's no update(s) at all for this particular phone? It's the only thing I can think of.
FN-GM Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 So I presume there's no update(s) at all for this particular phone? It's the only thing I can think of. It did have updates. I installed these before i tried the mail. No more updates required. Who would one contact to get this sorted? Would the Office 365 support touch it?
FN-GM Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 The phone at the moment does have a Pay as you Go SIM with no data until the contract one arrives next week. However its connected to WIFI and Lync, OneDrive & the Office 365 app works. I can't see this making a difference?
Michael Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 I agree, it shouldn't make any difference whether it's 3G/4G or WiFi - unless 3G connectivity is duff - it doesn't help
jonawd Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 I'm running windows phones with both 8.1 and 10 preview and they are all working fine with O365 using auto discover. On different tenancies too.
