Oaktech Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 (edited) Let me make this completely clear... This is not for work My dad has an '07 11" mac book which is getting really long in the tooth and is begining to fail mechanically as well as electrically - if you pick it up the wrong way the screen goes garbled and it reboots. As he literally only uses it to browse the internet from his armchair I was wondering if a chromebook around the £250 mark would do for him? Does anyone in the Poole/Bournemouth connurbation have one I could try for a few days, or do any of our lovely suppliers have a demo of one they could let me try for a bit? Le Edit: Before anyone suggests one, he doesn't get on with tablets - he has fat sausage fingers which are not very capacitive! Thanks in advance. Edited June 5, 2015 by Oaktech
Haptic Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Hi Oaktech. As luck would have it, we've just been awarded A Google Chrome Education Partnership. We have some demo units, you can play with one for a few days....just don't break it! 1
