I set User access control to the lowest level a couple of weeks ago. But I still have problems accessing and changing files, mainly on my 2 external drives.

An example: on one external NTFS drive I store my photos. I use Canon's Zoombrowser to classify and make easy edits. I tried on one photo to modify it yesterday and there was no problem.

But today I went back to the same photo to make another change, and got a permission denied message: "Please ensure that you have access permissions..."

I went into drive properties - security. In Permissions for Everyone should I give them all full control except Special?

I did this just now and it took a while for the drive to give these permissions, one by one to all the photos. I didn't restart, want to ask here first.
