Read and Write 11

I've started working at a new school and have been tasked to install Read and Write 11 for a trial period. I've (hopefully) finally got the MSI edited to two MSIs, one for the teachers and one for the students. I created a folder on the student share which has the required read/write permissions and I have set this for devices (something I'm not sure will work as I've only ever added Users to the security settings). Anyway, I tried to deploy the application via SCCM, however that didn't work, so I thought I'd install it manually as it's only a hand full of PC's.

 

Now I installed it to one machine on the C: drive, however I realised that the users don't have access to the C: drive so the shortcut doesn't show up, unless I did something wrong somewhere.

 

I'm just wondering if anyone here has installed this and what would be the best way to go about doing it? We've got the trial version for 30 days and currently it's for a maybe a dozen or two machines. It could, if we buy it, be used more around the school for other people who could potentially benefit from it.

i install it via GPO and it seems to work fine with no MST file, i do only install one MSI though and not one each (students/staff) if i remember correctly it wouldn't install properly if it did not have adobe reader installed already - maybe thats of some help
