Duplex Printing

So... Here's one for you...

I've been asked if there's a way to force a prompt when printing to ask if they want to print duplex.

 

Now, from what I can see it's not possible. It's either set the default setting or not.

 

So they want:

 

File, Print, Print, 'PROMPT: Do you want to print duplex?' (if yes, do, if no, don't)

 

 

Anyone?

If you're using papercut etc you could set a rule to do it, but by default (normal print server) don't think you can :s

I had this conversation with a print management company and was told that they could have this added to a driver but that it would cost about £1000 for developer time...

PCounter from what I remember of my last place has "popup" which you can make bypass rules on selection, e.g. make duplex basic and then bypass on selecting yes etc, but been a while on it so might want to check

I see, so you wouldn't really know too well how to explain how to configure this though?
