GuyJD Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Just thought I'd share a little solution to a problem I found when trying to join some windows 10 Tech preview Build 10074 computers to our domain. When joining to the domain it would come up with an error saying it couldn't contact the domain and wanted me to check my DNS setting, I checked the setting and it was picking up the correct DNS from our DHCP server, I tried setting it manually and still nothing, it wasn't until I rebooted after changing the local machine's DNS settings that it would then let me join the domain. Once it's rebooted and you've joined it to the domain, you can then set the DNS settings back to auto and it carries on working as normal.
