featured_spectre Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 We have a basic one in place here, but I was wondering what does everyone else use? My boss doesn't want to use smoothwall, despite me trying to convince him otherwise. What I am looking at currently is - SpamTitan, GFI and Spamfighter Any help, comments and suggestions is appreciated.
Lewys Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Have you got a Smoothwall box already then? So you could just by a license for the anti-spam bit... We use Barracuda. Don't you get inundated with spam? 1

Don't you get inundated with spam? No box here. And filtering is done by a basic program. I have a ridiculous amount on a blacklist which keeps growing, but I'd like something automated. There are other reasons why smoothy isn't choice here which I can't divulge.
AceDaz Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 I have a Office 365 Setup (Free for schools) and use the Exchange Online Protection for filtering, then when it hits my on-premesis exchange 2010 server it uses SpamHaus for IP Allow List Providers and SpamCop & SpamHaus for the IP Block List Providers
pantscat Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Another vote here for EOP and using Spamhaus... worked wonderfully when I used it.
