We have a couple of 27" flat panels that we move around with student as they progress through the school. The Windows magnification tool gets used quite a lot and in the past it used to be visually impaired software called Magic.

There is a program called Textaloud that will convert any text to spoken word, also for magnification ZoomText works well. If you have any questions please let me know

Give The Toynbee School in chandlers ford a call, they have a large VI department as part of the secondary school and use a multitude of different IT software and devices. Amazing what they get out of the kids!
