[news] Sophos Migration Help

Hi,

 

Currently migrating our Sophos Enterprise Console from a old 2003 server.

 

On the guide it's wanting me to do a backup of the database. I need to run a command prompt from the installation folder (C:\Program Files\Sophos\Enterprise Console) but it wont let me!!!

 

It will let me on windows 7 of course but that's no help!!

 

I've spent ages trawling through google with no help. Any suggestions or ideas?

How do you mean "it won't let me"? If you're logged in as an administrator, you should be able to open CMD and cd to C:\Program Files\Sophos\Enterprise Console unless you don't have read access to that folder.

Ignore me!! Was elevating downwards okay i was just been thick and not reversing the process to the folder i wanted!!
