Dell N2000 & N4032F - Any good ?

10Gig network upgrade - Dell N2000 series edge switch N4032F Core switch ? Any good ?

Got 5 of the 2000s and 1 of the 4032F (to replace my 6224F)

 

Installed the 4032F over easter and currently have 1 switch (5524) using it at 10G. Will be connecting more to it shortly - got both 55xx (at 10G) and 54xx (at 1G) that need to go through it. Seems alright based on the last two weeks. I chickened out of doing the full change over at once.

Hi Sagima for you post. Glad to hear your experience has gone well so far, though I suppose it is early days. How have you found them config wise? Is the cli & UI easy to get your head round?

Both are pretty straight forward although we've had dell switches here for the last 9 years (I used hp before and intel before then) so it's not very new to me.

thanks for your reply and reassurance. I think I have decided to go down the Dell route. Very aggressive pricing compared to HP and others.
