I'm not an electrical engineer, but my KS4 Physics suggests that if you were to use a 13A circuit, while using the full 2700W and you suffered a supply voltage drop to near or below 200V then you probably blow the fuse.

 

I've periodically had supply issues where <200V was being provided, however the power draw was low enough that we've never blown a fuse.

 

That said, I made the observation to the premisis team and they put in 16A circuits for me pretty soon afterwards.

Going to get a quote from our leccy to put another 16amp line in, I'm pretty sure we had two chopped off when we had a wall removed, so chances are the fuse box still has the required components in and it's just a case of refitting the socket on the wall
