Hi All,

I am having difficulty trying to get Adobe CS6 to work without any messages popping up after sysprepping. I have a windows 7 machine that is in audit mode and I've installed CS6 MSI which was created using the Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition & on my image it works fine, all programs opened up to check nothing comes up but after I've sysprepped, profile copied etc then launch a CS6 product it asks me to sign in with my adobe account?

What am I missing please?

Thanks, Steven

Originally according to Adobe, you shouldn't have put CS6 into your images, it should be deployed afterwards. There was an article published by them to this effect some years back. We stuck with CS5.5 for this reason, though I have built a reliable install package here for CS6 if needed.

"If you do a manual install of CS6 on a system the following will happen: An Adobe ID request will come up. Your end users HAVE to login with an Adobe ID account or they can’t use the software. Oh, that will be popular. Wait, the systems aren’t online or behind a secure firewall? Won’t work. Also, the systems HAVE to activate on a regular basis. Once again, not connected to the internet or behind an overly secure firewall? Won’t work. Now maybe you do imaging for your organization. You do an install on one base system. Login in with an Adobe ID and serialize it. Looks fine. Then you clone it to another system. Won’t work. There is now a relationship between the machine and the licensing in CS6. Let’s say you used a third party packaging tool like the venerable JAMF Composer tool. Guess what? Won’t work. No place within Composer to validate the Adobe ID or the online serial number validation."

There is a solution in later versions of AAMEE:

From what I remember using the Adobe Application Manager you also need to create a serialization file which should be run on each freshly imaged machine with CS6.

Thanks for your help. It seems to be serialized but a box comes up saying 'sign in required' but the message says it must be required in 32,762 days ?? any ideas

i created a serial file which was applied to my MSI Package, i still have to run the activation script tool after the install to make sure its licensed and doesnt grumble :(

does the box come up when the user loads the application?

i used this link to get me started in using the adobe licensing tools

https://blogs.adobe.com/oobe/tag/adobe-provisioning-toolkit-enterprise-edition

the tool kit for me was essential in properly licensing CS6 without it i was mucking about with license files and MST to get it into the installer.

with this i just rolled out the software and then ran the tool with our license key and the product is licensed
