Hello

 

I've set up a time-restricted wireless network for students which they can use for 1 hour.

 

I do this using a Network Policy and a Day and Time Restriction within Microsoft NPS.

 

This seems to work when attempting to join this network i.e. outside the restriction hours users don't authenticate but do during the allowed time.

 

However once they are connected the they are able to use the network even once the allowed time has lapsed. Any suggestions?

What firewall/web filtering solution are you using? Pretty sure what you are looking to accomplish can be done using the Quota feature in Smoothwall and I'm sure other filters have something similar.
