This post will suit someone who enjoys working with people in continually developing learning environments. We are looking for someone that has the right attitude and aptitude for working in local primary schools with teachers and Senior Leadership Teams. As a school based technician, you will be expected to help manage the school ICT Network under the guidance of the Network Manager ensuring that pupils and staff have access to ICT across both the curriculum and administration systems. For a percentage of the week, you will also provide general maintenance and technical housekeeping to primary schools networks, in accordance with guidance and support from the senior technician and Network Manager. Typical hours are 8.30 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on Friday, however there is a degree of flexibility with this.
