Server 2012 R2 Datacentre VS DataCentre

Hey,

 

I need help quickly on this please. We have got a license for Server 2012 Datacentre but not for Datacentre R2. We are doing VM's, live migrations and generally hyper-v features. Do we need the R2 version? I don't want to end up with a fully running system just to find out that we should have bought R2. Does the non R2 version have limitations?
