Well, interviews are this week and I should have heard by now in order to complete a written task ahead of said Skype interview... so no luck

 

I'm actually really disappointed, even though it's always been enormously unlikely. It would have been so much fun.

 

Best get on with the original plan of "best selling fantasy author" instead, then...

You said "best selling"! JK Rowling was worth £560M in 2008. (That is an appalling average for "full time" writers).
