Cant open exe on encrypted drive under normal user account please help!

Hi, we are having some trouble with a load of encrypted drives that one of our school uses. The drive is recognised but when you try to launch the software under a test teacher account nothing happens, where as if you do this under an administrator account the software runs fine. I've spoken to Kingston on the phone and they couldn't provide me with any solutions. I cant find anything about the actual USB stick that I am using either.

 

Has anyone had a similar issues or have an idea that they could share?

is there a restriction which stops exe's running from CD's? the initial drive with the application on mounts as a CD drive on most Kingston encrypted drives I think

Hi thanks for the reply. Yes according to there website this is true but I have set a GPO to disable the restriction and still no luck.

is the gpo applying correctly have checked with rsop? Are you running a RM network or Vanilla?

ok, when the exe is run does the process show in task manager? Also does an icon appear in the notification area?
