Looking for a hardware VPN

Our main server deals with our VPN.

 

My problem is if the main server goes down (only one in the building). I have no way on the network to use the IPMI remotely.

 

My plan is to get a hardware VPN but im a little confused when they call it "firewall VPN"

 

Will something like this do the trick?

A friend who has a small business uses a Draytek Vigor 2820Vn Router Firewall as a router/VPN which are pretty cheap and reliable.

What router do you have on site as you may already have the kit, might just need configuring.

We have a Draytek Vigor 2860.

 

Tried to setup the VPN on there. No luck :/

 

Any one got a noobs guide?

You need to register for the draytek site but that guide should help if you are using an SSL VPN / Draytek smartclient.

No worries, we sell Draytek from time to time and I have had to set-up a 2850 a while back for one of our support customer for same reason

I think they're great (use one at home instead of a BT router), their support is very good too. May be worth updating the firmware if you havnt already?
