[android] List of Rooted Apps

Hey Guys,

 

Was searching for a thread on here that might have mentioned some great Rooted apps for android phones that people use but I couldn't find one, so thus I have made this one It would be nice to keep this as a clean list for people to view and get help from, a lot of us use Android and a lot of us Root our devices so post your favourite one's below, the make and model of your phone and a description of what they do, could be quite interesting. Try not to double post on apps that have already been mentioned

 

I'll kick it off:

Motorola Nexus 6

 

Greenify - Allows the user to hibernate certain apps from running in the background, saves on battery life

Light Flow - Allows the user to turn on the hidden LED on a Nexus 6 and use it for notifications, you can also specify colour dependent on different apps (need the paid version)

AppHider - Keeps apps hidden from praying eyes using a password to gain access to apps you specify

Commandr - Gives Google Voice a lot more functionality such as reading text messages out allowed, sending whatsapp messages, locking phone etc.... (Root access gives more options)

Root Uninstall - Uninstalls carp bloatware or system files that you no longer need and bloats up your phone, things you wouldn't normally be able to remove

Startup Manager - Allows the user to specify what apps run at startup to improve your boot up time on your phone and help for better battery life

Nexus 6 Double Tap To Wake - This pretty much describes itself

ES File Explorer - With Root enabled you can see all the file system

And not really an app as such, but Xposed Framework is a great addition to any rooted phone.

Another mentionable app is Drastic DS Emulator, been playing Pokemon Pearl works great! Though I don't think you need to be rooted though I'm sure it helps if you are!
