Yeah (Hawkmoon FTW), it's a pretty big community for Destiny too. Now grinding Grimoire and Crucible/Iron Banner until HoW.

I can get as far as the bridge, just doing it for the xp to level up my weapons and to try and get some new stuff. Friday nights are our raiding night, going to do VoG and Crota back to back this Friday with some of my friends from Alaska.

You can still use the sword to get over the bridge solo, but as a 31 the adds are still pretty hard on your own. After 22 hardmode VoG completions I finally got the Fatebringer, that gun still rules and is good until the adds at Crota on Hard. Shotguns since 1.1.1 are utterly devastating. I didn't think raid kills contributed to the XP weapon level up (bounties still do).

I had a couple of decent shot guns but dismantled them before the update because of the low damage. Not had one since, lol. Xur is supposed to be selling the universal remote this weekend so might give that a go.
scotyboy56 Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I'm really tempted to buy one of the next gen consoles just for this game, I have an Xbox 360, which never gets used now as I have a nice shiny pc (Shame they haven't released it for PC) but just wondering if you guys know if it is any different on xbox 360, have they cut it back and not released certain aspects etc?

If you get one get xbox1 and add me, haha. PS3 and PS4 has more strikes too: The Undying Mind - a bit like the templar. Dark below only. The Dust Palace - psion flairs. Main game. They'll be a new strike for House of Wolves expansion too, along with extra exclusive weapons and armor. The vanguard vendor 'secret handshake' is one of the best, along with 'swordbreaker' from a normal Crota raid and 'found verdict' from the VoG raid (along with Fatebringer (both from templar boss, despite being old 300 attack are still utterly amazing). No universal remote from Xur, but he has Red Death today. Gives health back on kill, great for Crota on hard and one of the best crucible weapons. Next week Iron Banner is on, always get the Iron Banner weapons. Not only are they some of the best, you can reroll the perks. I'm really tempted to buy one of the next gen consoles just for this game, I have an Xbox 360... wondering if you guys know if it is any different on xbox 360, have they cut it back and not released certain aspects etc? The menu's load slower on last gen, may not sound much but you do use them alot. Sub 720p native resolution (1080p on current gen). Framerate vsync locked at 30 with only occasional drops on last gen, but the 'game' isn't any different, just the experience.... It is cross generation save, so if you wanted to get it on PS360 and upgrade to PS4/XBO later, just stick with the same manufacturer and you can continue where you left off. MS consoles misses out on quite a bit of content (until the end of the year), not £300 worth, but easy to justify if you're going get some other current gen console games. The game is kinda pointless without the expansions though, they are the 'subscription fee' (without a subscription fee). For it's faults (grinding, not MMO size of content) Destiny is the best FPS multi-player PvE there is. I've got my moneys worth. Edited March 13, 2015 by Theblacksheep

To be honest I probably would go for xbox 1 as my xbox live subscription auto re-subscribed the other day, which I had completely forgotten to cancel and with my 21st on Thursday I might just have to treat myself
