We're planning on changing our user e-mail addresses to a new domain.

Currently Moodle (v2.7) is using ldap to auenthicate (and create) it's users using the e-mail address property as the username (as we already had manual accounts with the SAM account names when implementing the ldap and didn't want to confuse the old and new accounts). Anyway as I said we're planning on changing domains and therefore our AD users will be getting a new mail attribute. With the new usernames moodle just creates a new user ignoring [email protected], how do we go about making sure that user@newdomain is the same moodle user as before?
