Office 365 - recommended broadband Speed

We are about to move into office 365 with our 550 pupils and staff. We recently upgraded our broadband to 300/400 Mbps. Currently we use about a third of the bandwidth and even that is mainly YouTube, Netflix etc.

 

A few questions are being asked:

What level of increase was caused by 365 at other schools/ how quickly did it go up.

Are bottlenecks created by class sets logging on at the same time at the beginning of lessons across school

Recommended traffic shaping for office 365

365 uses BITS so I've never seen an adverse reaction on bandwidth myself.

 

In an edu environment however this article may be applicable seeing how tightly some services are locked down.
