Shared email?

I get the whole shared bank account, but shared email? Isn't this an idea from the early days of the internet? Do couples share a mailbox for general stuff like bills?

I don't with my partner, and I can't see a time when I would ever consider it really.

I don't but have considered it; there are lots of things we sign up to that we both use (Netflix, Sky, Amazon Prime) that it'd be really handy for us both to receive emails from. Yeah, I could just set up forwarding but it'd also be handy to have these things just go to one mailbox and stay there.

Nope, I would only used shared email in somewhere like a school office sort of place not with partners!

 

Often see couples sharing a Facebook profile, it's not right. If you share things just use one or the others email.

OH parents have one email account and one facebook, they arent big internet users, moving them to broadband from dialup was a massive technology move.... and no they are not that old.

We have one that's is shared for bills, SIP voicemail etc. My partner was worried about not knowing who provides the gas etc. We don't even share apple accounts etc for the apps

I've seen a few where parents and children in the family share the same email address. As for whether it's a good thing, as always, it depends......
