cookie_monster Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Hi all, I'm looking at picking up an S5 but I keep reading horror stories about people receiving 3g versions from Hong Kong etc. Can anyone comment on if the version below is a UK 4g version that will work on 3 network. It appears that the G900F is the correct one but I'd like to be sure Samsung G900F GALAXY S5 unlocked: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

bossman Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Looking forward to the new OnePlus Two which will support SD expansion with a myriad of other fine attributes, really happy with my OnePlus One better than my Samsung Galaxy S4 which has Cyangenmod 12 (Lollipop 5.2) and is up for sale with spare battery and Otterbox case if anyone is interested? cookie_monster Posted March 5, 2015 Author Posted March 5, 2015 So far I love my S5, the battery life is great which is very important for someone who works outside. I think I'll go with a custom launcher for now and as soon as a few bugs are sorted I'll pop on Cyanogenmod 12 as CM11 was great on my GS3.
cookie_monster Posted July 10, 2015 Author Posted July 10, 2015 I thought I'd update this. I put CM12.1 on a couple of months ago now and its awesome, also flashed TWRP for backups. The OS is very smooth and seems to get very good battery life. The only issue I've encountered is that I feel the external speaker isn't as loud as when it was stock but I'm unable to test this now.
