Boredguy Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Our publicity lady would like a A1 format printer, along the lines of a Canon imagePROGRAF iPF605 Anyone running a large format printer, or can recommend a good cost effective unit that has excellent print quality without needing a bucket of money for the inks?
FragglePete Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 We've just got the exact same model installed two weeks ago. Seems ok - it was to replace our aging HP DesignJet 90 unit which was becoming troublesome in loading paper correctly along with other issues. Pete

difinity Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 I have an Epson 7600. Dye as opposed to ink so UV resistant for 75 years. Costs about £1 per meter when printing 24" wide.
MatthewL Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Oce and Xerox both do large format machines, from what I have seen I cannot fault them. HP also do some, you maybe able to pick up some second hand and the inks are not too expensive for them either. Maybe worth speaking to your copier company if you have such a lease, you maybe able to get one through them.
