Windows 8.1 with Bing

Simple question I hope.

 

Does Windows 8.1 with Bing which you get with inexpensive tablets and netbooks qualify as an operating system that you can use an upgrade license with? Since we have EES with SA, I'm hoping that I can legally run Windows 8.1 Enterprise on one of these things. I'm guessing that there's no reason why not but I want to be sure.

Windows 8.1 with Bing is a qualifying OS mate. It's windows 8.1 standard with bing as the default search engine. What tablets do you have? Ta, Col

At the moment, we have some Dell tablets. I know what Windows with Bing is, the only reason I asked is because Microsoft have decreed in the past that starter OSes don't qualify so I wasn't sure if this did.

Windows 7 (and XP / Vista) Starter Editions are a qualifying operating systems for academic institutions and charities. Click the link below for further details.

Windows 8.1 with Bing isn't any different really. It's just Windows 8.1 with a different default search engine in Internet Explorer.

Sorry @Norphy I should've been a little clearer! @Arthur just nailed what I meant, bless his cotton socks. Not the reason its called bing, but that it's the same product just with a different name and therefore qualifies for upgrade.
