Administrator - Referenced account is locked out

Hi

 

We occasionally get this when logging onto our servers.

 

The referenced account is locked out and may not be logged into.

 

However, we have just installed Backupassist and the backups won't run as it says the same error message.

 

Any ideas please?

Something is locking the account out, service using an old password perhaps? Malicious user trying to guess the password, badly configured script?

 

If its setup right you can dig through event logs to narrow it down a bit to a device that is doing it hopefully.
