What are you typing from your remote machines? Do you have WAMP running on a different port if you have IIS already using port 80? http://servername:port/classroombookingsystems
Aaron Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 i have got one step closer thank you for all your help so far. I now def have the wamp server live and i have also changed the config file to now say http://(servername)/classroombookings/ but when i move to another machine and test this i get This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including: •Internet connectivity has been lost. •The website is temporarily unavailable. •The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable. •The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain. •There might be a typing error in the address. •If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section. on the other machines i am typing in http://(servername)/classroombookings/ i dont have ISS installed on the server only the WAMPSERVER 2.0i when i do the apache test port 80 it brings up your port 80 is actually used by: Server: Apache/2.2.11 (Win32) PHP/5.2.9

Aaron Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 we have a proxy in place here its run by c2k but i know the proxy to use how would i bypass this?
Aaron Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 sorry i jsut checked my connections to make sure i had set bypass proxy server for local addresses and it is ticked
Aaron Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 but we do use a proxy server which uses a different port number than port 80
Edu-IT Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 What happens when you go to http://servername?
Aaron Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 i have tried searching from a machine by using http://(InternalIP of server)/classroombookings/ but again same error message
Aaron Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 i was talking to a guy from c2k when i ust checked to make sure that port 80 wasnt blocked and he said something about binding the internal ip address to that of the wampserver he said something like the wamp server would use 127.0.0.1 is that right is it possible to bind the server IP to this?
Edu-IT Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 127.0.0.1 is localhost. Not sure if this helps? Creating Multiple Virtual Sites on a WAMP Server Installation | Trailhead Interactive 1

andrew_91090 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Whenever a member of staff books a room for a furture date, it books the room on the day we're on. e.g. if we're on Monday 11th January period 1, and try to book for Thursday 14th period 4, it will book in the Monday 11th January Period 4 and not on the Thursday. administrators can change the date but staff can't How do resolve this problem as it happens for every member of staff and administrator?

Is this with Classroombookings? If so, you need to change the Booking display type (School Details page) to 'One day at a time'. There is a bug in the other option, which gives the behaviour you described above. 1
