Our IT teachers came back from a training session last night where they were demoed AppShed as a possible resource for our Y7 and Y8 students come September.

Now they noticed that there was some menu issues on IE10 on the workstation they were trailing it on (I'm looking at you @FragglePete as it might have been your kit :p) so are doing some due diligence and actually checking it on our browsers months before they would ever use it.

Is there anyone already using it, any handy tips to make it run smoothly or sites that might need unfiltered for it or any horror stories so I know how far I need to run away :)

Apparently Bob Harding was using your school facilities to demo software to IT teachers in the local area after school last night.

If your on IE11 that might be part of the "missing menus" they saw. As for more info, I've not been given any and was kind of hoping you might know some if any of your IT staff had mentioned it today :)

Never heard of him. Are you sure it was us up here in Old Town? I was not aware of any users requiring guest access to our network.

Just spoken to a couple of our ICT teachers, and they mentioned something about. Would have been nice if the teacher who arranged it talked to me about it. Said it required Chrome or Firefox - we don't have that here I'm afraid.

We are trying to run it here in Chrome and IE11, and having issues with the menus, and also are struggling to register new accounts.
