Is this line status reasonable?

Playing with lovely new router which I've bought to replace nasty BT Homehub 5) and looking at line stats. Sync speed looks good, but SNR (dB) looks poor: 0.1dB. Or have I got that the wrong way round and 0.1dB is excellent. I'm getting very variable download speeds, but that could be for a number of reasons - also changed rest of network at same time. Now using Solwise 600Mb ethernet over mains and 3 x Unifi APs. Think wiring is not great, but also old house with very thick walls, so wireless networking not a goer and proper cabled LAN a right palaver.

I get 0.1db snr up and down on my home DrayTek 2860 and get full speed out of the line so no problem here

Well there's summat up. I've put the home hub back in and Internet is hunky dory again. One disconnection overnight, compared to about 15/hour with the draytek. Couldn't complete a speed test with the draytek, was generally running at about 1.5 Mb/s and timing out before completing. Getting 32 across the WiFi on my iPad 2 with the BT home hub and unifi wireless

Have you tried upgrading to the latest firmware?
