The wait is over. I promised these new AUP templates were coming and here they are.

New Kent e-Safety document available: “Acceptable Use Policies for Education Settings and their Wider Communities2015″

 

 

This document replaces and builds upon the Staff ICT AUP document from 2012 and has been significantly extended to include statements and content to use with a range of audiences such as children and parents/carers as well as staff, visitors and volunteers and now includes templates for specific situations such as the offical use of social media.

 

The document includes a range of template AUPs for schools to adapt according to their needs and requirements as well as sample letters, examples and references to additional material.

 

The document also includes in depth guidance for leaders and managers to consider when developing AUPs which will empower and engage their communities
