A stab in the dark..

 

Require a Vista Business OEM disc.

 

Need to upgrade from XP.

 

No restore discs and no restore partition.

 

Any recommendations?

 

Laptop in question is an old Toshiba Satellite Pro P300 PSPC9E

From upgrade i meant fresh install.

 

No Windows 7 License.

 

No Microsoft agreement.

 

Save a few pounds...need Vista baby...

If you insist on using Windows Vista, make sure you put SP2 on as it irons out most issues and is more comparable with Windows 7 at this level. Trouble is you're limited to IE9, unless you install Chrome too? Decisions, decisions... :)

Just making the most out of old kit till the new budget arrives. no spending till then :(

IE9 is fine.

I would have sent you hundreds of vista cds but I melted them down and made a contorted statue of bill gates screaming in pain.
