tben2505 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Hi guys Question about contacts on SIMS and how it relates to InTouch. May I ask - if we have a mother and a father set up, each with a mobile and each with an email, and all 4 set to "Primary" and "Main" - what does this mean? As it relates to InTouch, does that mean they will automatically be listed to send SMS messages and emails etc? And what is the distinction between Primary and Main in terms of the rest of the system? Cheers guys T
vikpaw Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 (edited) There was confusion when Primary first got added. I think InTouch only sees the Primary flagged people. I would check the docs though just in case, I think you can have more Mains, one for each type. Edited February 8, 2015 by vikpaw
PhilNeal Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I agree this is opaque - I will ask the team to rethink these labels. Main • Can be used as the main telephone number, this can be a Land Line or a mobile number. This could be Grandmothers number for picking up a sick child. Primary • Is for the Primary number (mobile) you would like to use with InTouch (or any other communication package), to send home SMS. some parents have multiple mobile numbers...
