I had a overnight stay as my leg wouldn't wake up ( thats the other 1/10) I was running with in 6 weeks and did 2 half marathons with in 3 months of having it done 1

When we were in with my wife giving birth to our son, I was sitting close to her and ended up getting rather high on the 'spare' gas and air that she was breathing out! But then again, as I'd clocked up getting on for 40 hours awake that 'day', it didn't take much lol I had gas when I mashed my elbow up after a bike crash. I had the full works - auditory distortions, imagining people in the room, hearing loud rock music that wasn't really there, etc. And of course, talking absolute nonsense. Never say NO 2 N2O.

Garacesh Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 (edited) Gas-and-air is AFAIK chemically the same as Nitrous Oxide It is legal to drive a vehicle that has had a nitrous kit attached on the road*. (I don't think you're allowed to actually have a nitrous tank attached if you're on the road.. But even having the kit installed makes your insurance fire up quicker than the toilet bowl after a vindaloo) * My step-uncle before MS took him used to drag race on his motorbike (of course, only on registered tracks/airline strips/etc) but his bike was his normal road bike, too. Luckily I am kind of thick skinned and understand mistakes/oversights can be made. Some people may not have been that tolerant..

I had a nice sea view over the harbour and a room to myself in Poole hospital the other week and I hadn't even paid for an upgrade

To be fair - I have no complaints about my stay in NGH - this time round everyone was very helpful, though in the past I have been on wards that were not so good.
