thegrassisgreener Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 whats the commmand to lookup public IP address on my network
thegrassisgreener Posted December 4, 2007 Author Posted December 4, 2007 no - ipconfig /all only reveals the internal IP address, subnet mask and default gateway there is a command to see public IP
maniac Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 http://whatsmyip.org/ will tell you the public IP address of the last router your connection goes through before it gets to the internet. This will most likely be a router at your LEA. Most schools don't have a public IP address as such, because they connect to a local grid first before going out to the internet. Mike.
PEO Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 if thats the case i think if you install logmein and register you can find out your ip that way
