Has anyone played the new sam and max game, ice station santa that has come out recently. Anyone played any of the season 1 games or the original.

Played Sam and Max Hit the Road (true classic), season 1 of the new S&M games and ordered season 2 which should be arriving in a steady stream after xmas, ice station santa was a far bit better than the previous series with a fair few new locations.

 

Long live S&M!

 

Seriously though you can't go wrong with Sam and Max, even the cartoon series was pure class.

Never played the original "at the time" being an Amiga user but did hit the similar "Monkey Island" series pretty hard

 

http://www.scummvm.org/ will play the originals of both, plus a load more games, 2 of which have been released as freeware, Beneath A Steel Sky and Flight of the Amazon Queen. Played BASS when it 1st came out, recently completed FotAQ for the 1st time. Great games

Have used scummvm to play, the Monkey island series, Sam and Max, Day of the Tentacle and The Dig.
