Not long to wait!

TheBattlefield Hardlineopen beta will run from February 3-8, EA announced today.

It will be available to players on PC, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, and PS3.

Then the game will be released March 17

I feel a sick day or two coming!

Sorry but BF4 was too big a burn. Beta had issues but Siege of Shanghai worked. When it launched, Siege of Shanghai had a crippling showstopper bug causing client crashes when the tower came down that wasn't fixed for months whilst the rest of the game fell down a pan. Tower came down, half the server emptied!

Beta.... EA..... *launches nuke at EA head office*

I'm not touching the beta, and i'll only buy the game a month or two after release to allow EA to solve bugs / glitches.

EA is currently................ not in my good books.

Bit optimistic?

I agree with Sunnyknight...I've been burned by the betas before :(

I just don't buy into any betas, nor pre-order anything anymore. Been burned too many times by different companies.

Same. It was the reason I gave away my copy of Elite Dangerous to my FIL. Was fun to play but they pulled some key features which would have kept me (offline play being the big one).

Also since BF3 beta, I've been let down by a lot of them...not just battlefield, but other games. I've actively pulled myself from the Alpha/Beta/Early release games and now stick with games I know and enjoy.

Last DLC I bought was Clover for PAYDAY 2 (mostly because she has awesome voice lines*) and before that, Burial at Sea for Bioshock Infinite.. I rarely ever buy anything beyond the 'stock game' anymore.

* Hoxton does, too, but my friend always plays as him.

Played last night, actually really enjoyed it. Seems to be a bit more together than BF4 was, but we'll see whether or not that's true when it comes out.

Probably give it a few weeks then pick it up after launch.
