I really wish Microsoft would stop making changes to the layout of the Office 365 Web App without telling me first!

Today I have a stream of staff saying "I can't get to my contacts or calendar". Because MS have removed the links from the top right of the toolbar!!! Now you have to click the square dotted icon at the top left to access your 'Apps'

Just recently they changed the left hand bar by adding 'Groups' to it. Thus by default hiding all of the subfolders of peoples Inbox.

I don't mind them introducing changes, but a bit of a heads-up to warn staff would be nice. I keep having to send out instructional emails on how to get to basic features!

Yeah it's daft, it's not even a single rollout - some users will still have the old setup, some will have the new which makes things wonderfully amusing if you're explaining where something is over the phone!

Fairy fluff, I don't really look at the Office roadmap. Still think it would be nice to send an email or put a message on the O365 admin dashboard as a warning i.e. changes coming next week etc

Maybe I'm just grumpy today

I've been upset that there has not actually been anything new added for the early adopters this past month.

The new style header has been on our deployment since October, and a few of our staff wondered how to easily switch between contacts and mail, but once shown how to pin it to the nav bar they have been happy.

They are doing a lot of work on the technical and management side, Azure AD Connect is an example of this, plus just general refinement to apps. The Notification Pane is probably going to be the next real feature you will see on the first release. Edited by JRowley
