Moodle + Office 365: better together with new MS Open Tech open source plugins for education workflows - MS Open Tech

Today MS Open Tech is releasing to the public a set of open source Moodle plugins that enable tight integration between Moodle, the popular open source learning management system (LMS), and Office 365’s popular productivity software and services, to create a more productive experience for teachers and students. The plugins will be demonstrated this week during theBETT Show, the world’s largest education technology conference.

Looks quite interesting for schools who run Moodle + Office 365.

I have tried installing it on our test moodle site - seems to work well until the stuff you need to do in the Windows Live developer center as it didn't like our domain name so have had to get an exception rue created. SSO works well and I haven't tried the Onedrive stuff yet - i do have it installed.

That is cool I have just past it on to our Moodle Lady who has meetings with fellow schools so might see if anyone near by have used it. I would say by the sounds of things this would be a big contender against Google Classroom.
