Deleting profiles script for Win 7

hi,

i need help on scripts to delete user profiles on win 7 upon logging off the computer or if any of you have all-ready pre-set up scripts to help me out,

I use delprof2. It is perfect for this.

Yeah... Delprof2, seconded. Runs as a scheduled task deployed by gpo every wednesday.

I run it school wide every 'major' holiday (Summer, Easter etc, No half terms.) as it requires creating a new profile which increases login times slightly.

thanks guys, i also work for a school , im new to the software operations side, we have delprof 2, but i want to run it every time a kid logs off by a script, just don't know how to create a script for this, we have roughly 400 computers so it obviously has to be automatically done,

You'd run my script and set it as a logoff script via GPO.

We use delprof2 which runs evey startup and shutdown we also combin that with a GPO policy that when a profile is over 2 days old it gets deleted

How have you enabled it at Startup? I've tried creating a GPO which runs it as a Startup script, but it isn't working...

Yes, if I do so from an administrator Command Prompt.

Just realised I did a Very Silly Thing ™. The script which I had added to the NetLogon folder wasn't the right one. I had an incorrect switch in it, which I had corrected in my test version but not copied back to the server. It now works as a startup script.

 

I'm not sure if I'm more happy I've got it working or annoying I lost several hours to this error...
