Apple Configurator and In- App Purchases

Anyone have an idea of how to do in- app purchases through Configurator. We have a Spanish class that wants full use of this app that needs to be done as a in-App purchase. However, the iPads are locked down and even though I can unsupervised them the rest of the iPads don't show it as being purchased even after we upgraded it. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

Can not be done via Configurator or MDM I'm afraid.

 

If this is free app with in app purchase then you will need to;

 

Have a copy on each iPad with unique Apple ID

Change and update the profile in Configurator, push new profile to iPad to allow in app purchase,

Buy through in app purchase on each iPad

Reverse Profile change and update each iPad.

 

Probably easier to look for another app without in app purchase.

My option is to complain, kick up a fuss and generally be a complete nuisance to the developer on twitter to get them to change it.

 

Hasn't worked yet, i'd go with find another app
