Just wondering (praying really) if there is a quicker way to do this as I can't see one:

I have created quite a complicated marksheet template for a subject in one year group. I want to reuse the template and substitute the aspects for different ones that relate to different subjects and year groups, which I have done via the clone and substitute aspect process.

However, when you clone the template the column headers remain the same so don't match the substituted aspects column headers. The changes are not simple enough to use the text substitution option and currently I am faced with manually updating 40 aspects per template, with 6 year groups and 3 subjects its going to get old very quickly.

I just kinda want to automatically update the column headers to their new aspect... but I guess people are going to say you can't...?

Only way I can think of is to start from scratch. Set the column headings to something suitable for text substitution, create the first template then clone it using the relevant replacement and substitution features. Might be quicker given the number of columns.

An alternative route would be to export the template as XML, edit the headings in the export then import it again. Might be slightly quicker than doing it manually, but still not likely as quick as @CAM's suggestion
