Moving my web host woes

So I'm moving my web hosting - and the company I'm moving to offer a free CPanel / WHM migration on your behalf.

 

Great I thought - I'm currently hosting 13 websites, so saves me some hassle.

 

They've emailed me this morning saying migration complete, just change DNS at your registrar and you'll be good to go. Great!

 

Until I double check and realise they've not migrated the SQL database on my website. Fortunately the other 12 are fine, so, not to worry I'll do that my self... but they've also managed to somehow delete the SQL databases at my current hosts end :/ and stupid me didn't do my own backup beforehand! I needed a new site anyhow - was just hoping I'd have a little more time to do it!

 

I've emailed them to see if they keep the backup files for a while, and may have to contact my current provider, but my contract with them says backup is my responsibility. oops.
