clareq Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 My boss has come up with the idea of showing a slideshow on unused (ie not logged onto) computers - advertising school events etc. Any ideas how to do this?
pcstru Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 (edited) Any idea - how about configure a screensaver to lift images from an accessible network drive. (Also the xibo 1.7 beta includes the client as an .scr (executable as a screensaver) - I'm hoping this will allow us to do something similar). Edited January 7, 2015 by pcstru
clareq Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 I'll look at xibo - thanks. Does server 2012 have a GPO to set pre logon screensavers?

crc-ict Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 In these days of energy efficiency, cost saving and environmental responsibility, wouldn't it be better to set up power saving settings so that unused displays and computers sleep after a short period of inactivity?

Also, unless it's a really whizzy contemporary thing that looks like Prezi, how unbelievably 1990's is it going to look?
