Pre-logon slideshow

My boss has come up with the idea of showing a slideshow on unused (ie not logged onto) computers - advertising school events etc. Any ideas how to do this?

Any idea - how about configure a screensaver to lift images from an accessible network drive.

 

(Also the xibo 1.7 beta includes the client as an .scr (executable as a screensaver) - I'm hoping this will allow us to do something similar).

In these days of energy efficiency, cost saving and environmental responsibility, wouldn't it be better to set up power saving settings so that unused displays and computers sleep after a short period of inactivity?
