Volunteer required - IT Technician - Birmingham - Gain experience

We are looking for a volunteer to assist in the day to day tasks in the IT Support Department in a Birmingham based school. This position is ideal for someone who is wanting to gain valuable work experience in the education sector prior to getting a job.

 

You will be working in a relatively small school of 250 pupils supporting the desktops, printers, photocopiers, laptops, MS office, MIS system, apple devices, resource booking, apple device configuration, wireless networks, AD to name a few.

 

The successful candidate will work with and enhance the existing IT Support team. The current team provides a highly effective service to a school that has made a commitment to the ongoing development and enhancement of ICT to support both curriculum and administrative needs.

 

The successful candidate will be flexible and enthusiastic in their approach to work and demonstrate a willingness to help expand and enhance the current ICT provision.

 

There will also be the opportunity to gain experience in the classroom environment to expand your range of skills.
