Meraki and MDM

Hi,

 

I'm trying to use Apple configurator to supervise our iPads and then deploy apps via Meraki.

 

We have VPP setup.

 

I've got the profile on but when I go to install an app it comes up with an error in the device page "Error - Please log in to your iTunes Store account."

 

When I click on that it says:

 

"Code: 12040Domain: MCMDMErrorDomain

Please log in to your iTunes Store account."

 

The device asks me to login to iTunes on each device but when I press login it doesn't ket me do anything.

 

I'm guessing that this is due to the fact that the device isn't being locked to the iTunes account which we've assigned the app to?

A very vague suggestion but something we do we connect the iPad to an open wifi hotspot normally one of our phones, put in the iTunes login and let it settle then tell it to forget the hotspot and it connects to our domain wifi...or connect it yourself. We normally do this just as configurator is installing apps to the device

Go to Settings > iTunes and Appstore and log the devices in from here.
